Terms and Conditions

Bookings:
To make a booking simply select the date or multiple dates you require and add the items to your cart. All items will be added to your date selected. (Please Note: If you require a one day hire, simply select the same day twice. For multiple day hire, select the date range required). Next, proceed to checkout and select your delivery and payment options before submitting your booking. An order confirmation and tax invoice will be emailed to you once processed. A representative from Games Plus will then contact you leading up to your event day to make final arrangements.
Hire Basis:
All games are subject to availability and based on a 24 hour DIY (do it yourself) hire without staffing. 24 hours is an estimation based on games being delivered/collected on the day requested and then picked up/returned the same day or the following day.
If you need assistance from one of our professional activity leaders for your event, this can be arranged with prior notice for a set fee based on a per hour rate. Please contact us directly if you require this service or select ‘event staff’ during the booking procedure.
All games should be neatly packed and in a reasonably clean condition ready for return/pick up. Hirers returning games that are excessively dirty or wet will be charged a cleaning fee. Any items broken or missing parts will be charged to repair/ replace that item. This fee will be deducted from the security bond and you will be notified of the amount by email when it is processed.
Payment:
Quick and easy payment can be made by credit card via our PayPal or Stripe payment option. If you prefer to pay via Direct Bank transfer, we have this option available for you also. The total amount of the hire will be processed at the time of the booking however the minimum requirement is a 50% deposit to hold your booking with the balance payable 48 hours before the delivery or booking date. Please note that on credit card payments a 2.2% fee (approximate) will be charged to your card. This is a PayPal/ Stripe processing fee for all credit card payments.
Payment selection can be made when processing your order on the website.
Security Bond:
A security bond is payable at the time of booking to cover products against loss and damage. The amount required will be $100 per order and will be indicated in the shopping cart page.
Though it is expected that there may be some wear and tear to throwing games due to their nature, games should be used according to guidelines. The bond may be used to cover the cost of damages resulting from inappropriate handling of games or cleaning if games are not returned in a reasonably clean condition.
For credit card payments the amount will be charged and processed together with your payment and the bond refunded back to this card. For direct bank transfer, you will need to send us your bank account details via email or text for a quick refund once items have been checked off. All security bonds will be refunded once the items have been returned and checked to be in good order. Generally 2-3 business days.
Please inform us of any problems, breakages or missing parts when you receive your games hire, not after your event or after you return the items. All games are quality checked after each hire, If you receive any game items damaged or missing, you are to inform us immediately after receiving them and before use. Failure to do so could result in additional charges at your expense.
Delivery and Collection:
Delivery/collection fees are applicable within our service area and are charged based on the delivery postcode. We have three delivery options available for your convenience. Standard Delivery Service, Priority Delivery Service and One Way Delivery Service. Of course, you can also arrange to collect and return the items yourself.
Standard Delivery Service:
Flexibility is the key for this option. Our staff will arrange to deliver before your event and collect after your event based on our days schedule. This could be the day before and after. All delivery/collection fees are based a 10 min drop off and collect time frame and on ease of access to the venue and parking/loading facilities. If the event is at a park or the venue has stairs or is difficult to access, additional charges may apply. Please check and consider our Priority Delivery Service in this case.
Priority Delivery Service:
Please select our Priority Delivery Service where a specific delivery/collection time is required. Our helpful staff will arrive at an agreed time to deliver and collect your items. This service is particularly helpful when your event is located at a park or if you have limited storage or transport options.
One Way Delivery Service:
Due to popular demand we introduced our one way delivery service where our staff will deliver or collect your order and you will return or pick up the order from our Wellington Point office.
Self Collection/Return: 
To avoid delivery charges you are welcome to collect from and return to our warehouse at Wellington Point 4160 (Monday to Sunday). We will confirm the Pick-Up/Return location and suitable time closer to your event date. Failure to meet at the confirmed time may incur additional charges. Please consider the size of equipment you are collecting, if in doubt contact our management team for advice.
Age Limit:
Most games are suitable for age 5 and over, YES! specially adults! With proper adult supervision younger children may use some products.
Bad Weather:
In the event of bad weather and the need to postpone an event you need to contact us 72hrs prior to your confirmed pick-up/delivery time. If we arrive on site and the decision is made to cancel the event due to poor weather, your payment will not be refunded.
If you postpone due to bad weather within 72hrs of the event, any preparation cost incurred for your booking will be charged and the balance will be converted to a credit against future bookings within 6 months of the original date.
Cancellation:
In the event you need to cancel your booking for any reason, 7 days notice must be provided in writing (text or email accepted) for a full refund minus any cost already incurred. Within the 7 days notice period full payment will be payable and the security bond will be refunded in full.
Insurance, Liability & Responsibility:
Games Plus are insured for $20million of public liability. Our insurance and responsibility extends to limit of this policy only and it does not assume cover, responsibility for or in any way guarantee your event. Hirers should seek their own insurance cover and assume their own responsibility for the event.
If staff from Games Plus accompany the game hire and run the activities, they are suitably trained and qualified to supervise the set up, facilitate the games program and pack up the games and activities only and are covered with our insurance. It is the hirers responsibility to address all OH&S matters.

Obtaining Delivery/Collection Quote:
To quote the delivery charges for your order, simply add the items you are interested in to your shopping cart, proceed to the check out page and enter your delivery address and postcode into the appropriate fields. All available shipping costs and options will be displayed and include delivery and collection with the exception of one way delivery service. If this does not display, we may have missed your postcode so please contact us and I can give you a quote.
Refund Policy for Hires:
In the unlikely event you receive your items and they are not working correctly, broken or have missing parts, you MUST contact our office via email, mobile, text or recorded message to explain the situation when unpacking the items and BEFORE USE, in which case we will refund you a portion of the hire price or in full for that particular item depending on the situation. If you arranged collection of the Games Plus items yourself you will be responsible for all items after they leave our storage facility. Contacting us after the event or on return of the items will not be accepted and you will be liable for any damage or missing equipment. Please note all equipment is cleaned, checked and maintained after each booking and will be in 100% working order for your event. With most equipment, general instructions are provided, but we can take no responsibility on your ability to assemble any of the items.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your booking with Games Plus, please contact us as soon as possible via phone, text message or email and quote your order number and event date. We cannot cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process. In the event that your items have been prepared for delivery/collection, you will be charged for that order. Administration charges will apply if canceled within 7 business days of your event date. Full payment will apply if canceled within 48 hours (two days) of your event date. Please understand once your original order has been received, the items are no longer available to hire for that period.
